Our Philosophy Where Nature meets Luxury-Naturally
Welcome to our beautiful Domaine, set in lush greenery, with beautiful views over to Bordeaux and yet just a short drive to St Émilion.
Our team is a blend of French, Irish, and Portuguese, and we hope that this will create a warm and relaxed atmosphere for our guests. There is always a staff presence on site.
Domaine de la Peyrine has been a true labour of love. The owners’ personal touch can be seen in its architecture, its artwork, its very own orchard, and even in the natural paint on its walls.
We want our guests to experience and share the refinement of this eco-chic property, a haven of calm and serenity, an ideal base for exploration, where our produce is organic and where natural light and comfort define every aspect of its design.
The building is fully self-sufficient, powered by photovoltaic panels. Our orchards and crops are completely free of pesticides, and rainwater is collected to nourish the surrounding vegetation. During the warmer months, our discreet air-conditioning system ensures a refreshing, healthy, and consistently comfortable indoor climate.
From Exterior to Interior
Nature and Natural just nicely blended
The roses on our tables have blossomed in our own garden, while the jams and compotes served at breakfast are lovingly crafted from the fruits of our very own orchard.
If walls could speak ours are the non-toxic kind
The interior fittings were custom-made by an architectural firm from Bordeaux, and by local craftsmen.
The materials are natural, such as the paint in the rooms made from lime, clay and hemp, tinted with natural pigments.
Our hotel uses chemical-free household products.
